NDIS claim deadline calculator
Two claiming windows are live at once, and which one applies depends on the date each support was delivered. Enter a delivery date and this shows the deadline, the rule it used and why — using the same code that runs inside the product.
The date of support, not the date the note was written or the invoice raised. The window runs from delivery.
Enter a delivery date and this will show the deadline, which window applies to it, and why.
The rule this uses
Not our interpretation — the responsible agency's own position, with a link to check it.
What the rule says
From 1 December 2026 the period for claiming a support delivered under a participant’s plan drops from two years to 90 days.
Applies to: Providers claiming against a participant’s NDIS plan for supports delivered on or after 1 December 2026.
Applies from: 1 December 2026
Where this is not the whole answer
Supports delivered before 1 December 2026 keep the window that applied when they were delivered. Confirm how the change applies to your own service bookings with the NDIA.

What this tool does not tell you
A deadline is arithmetic. Everything that makes a claim actually payable is not.
- Whether the claim itself is valid — the item, the price, the plan and the agreement are all separate questions.
- Whether a record exists behind the claim. A claim inside its window with nothing evidencing it is still a problem, just a different one.
- Whether a late claim will be accepted. That is the NDIA’s decision about your circumstances and we do not predict it.
- How your own service bookings or plan dates interact with the window. Confirm that with the NDIA.
